Wine is more than just a drink. It’s a story of people, traditions, and the land it comes from. If you’ve always wanted to learn more about Italian wines in a simple, enjoyable, and hands-on way, the Italian Wine Tasting Course – Learning Wine in 2 Steps is the perfect opportunity.

This special edition will take place at Fossa Mala winery on October 21st and 23rd, from 7 to 8:30 PM. With a small group of no more than 16 participants, the course promises an intimate and engaging atmosphere.

What makes this course unique?

In just two evenings, you’ll discover how to taste wine with awareness, how it is produced and why the connection between wine and territory is so important. Each session includes guided tastings, where we’ll dedicate time to the sensory analysis of selected wines.

The goal is simple: to understand what we are drinking and enjoy it more mindfully.

Step One – White Wines

We’ll begin with the elegance and freshness of whites. In this first session, you’ll explore:

• the basics of tasting through sensory analysis

• how white wines are made, including sparkling methods

• how to open a bottle properly and safely

• which pairings work best with white wines.

Tasting: 2 sparkling wines and 1 still white wine.

Step Two – Red Wines

The second evening will focus on the depth and character of red wines. Together, we’ll dive into:

• a fun “olfactory memory game” to train your nose

• the key features of red winemaking

• why the glass you choose really matters

• unique and special red Italian wines

• the perfect food pairings for reds.

Tasting: 1 sparkling rosé and 2 red wines.
